What are PVs?
PV is an abbreviation for "promotional video"; usually it contains clips which show off a player's great, best, or flashiest 3rd strike moments. Before I started on this site, I made a few PVs of famous 3rd Strike players; instead of random, out of context clips that were just for show, I tried to put together full matches that spanned their entire 3S careers and generally possessed some larger significance than just impressive play - happening at a large tournament like SBO, or a famous win which would them on the map, stuff like that. Basically, for someone new who hasn't had much exposure to elite 3S players and their history with the game, my goal was for these PVs to serve as a good reference, something you could watch and get an idea of why they are considered elite or famous.
Unfortunately, each one took a great deal of time and bandwidth, and I don't have enough of either at the moment to continue making them. I do eventually (hopefully in the next couple of months) want to resume making them; they're great fun to to put together, and I generally received a lot of positive feedback in the youtube comments and on the shoryuken website from strong 3S players.
